Jessie Hedrian

UBC Undergraduate (BSc) Student
Integrated Sciences

Jessie is an undergraduate Integrated Science student at the University of British Columbia, excited to explore the intersection of life sciences and public policy. Her interest in pediatric inflammatory diseases began early, after she and multiple family members were diagnosed with Kawasaki Disease, a rare condition that sparked her curiosity about the genetic and immunological factors behind pediatric vasculitis. This experience inspired her passion for translational research, a direction that aligns with the work of the Brown Lab. Outside the lab, Jessie loves all things art, from visiting museums and attending musicals to practicing martial arts (wushu), which she has practiced for over five years.
